It's crazy to think that certain objects, people,or acts can bring a euphoria to one's mind. For me, it is a place. Austin, Texas. It's interesting that I can connect to a city I did not grow up in, a city I have not fully experienced, a city that has the power to scare & thrill me all at once. Yet, this city from the moment my feet touched the sidewalks claimed me. There was no way to prevent it, nor was there another choice from my perspective. Seems that not too often people know exactly where they want to be. In my case, my heart already has its lover & his name is Austin. One day, whenever that day may finally cross my path, I will leave my print on a city that has already left its mark on me. Metanoia: the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life.
